Administrator in Training (AIT) – Skilled Nursing Facility Administrator
The ideal candidate will have completed an MBA, MHA, or MPA degree with a GPA above 3.0 (verifiable transcript and an in-depth official background check by the State of California) to enter the AIT program (applicants with Business Management Bachelor’s Degree are welcome to apply with 6 or more years of Business Leadership experience). The training program requires six to eight months of work in a skilled nursing facility, working directly with a licensed administrator (preceptor) in order to acquire the total hours to receive the federal license (California requires their state’s license as well) as an administrator of a skilled nursing facility (almost all of our preceptors have a minimum of five years’ experience as a licensed, successful administrator). You must pass a federal examination to receive the federal license – the State of Washington requires only the federal license, whereas California requires the AIT to also pass a California examination in order to secure the California license. Upon completion of our AIT program, the candidate must be willing and able to relocate to the local community of any client facility in the North American Health Care system (geographic preference will be considered of course). Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience, training or coursework
